Abstract

This paper introduces PSLX platform, which is designed for interoperability of software applications of manufacturing operations management. The platform contains standard models and terminologies as well as common generic software components. Eleven Japanese IT vendors have implemented and demonstrated software products/services on the platform, and published the outcomes of the joint project in an exhibition in Tokyo, 2009. Outlines of PSLX platform project and some technical abstracts of messaging services and document translation are illustrated and discussed.
