Abstract
A fuzzy control system is analyzed and designed basing on a new hardware platform mixed-signal FPGA. Besides fuzzy control module, FPGA is also embedded with 8051, PWM, ADC. After analyzing the principle of fuzzy control module, it´s divided into several modules according to the functional needs on the basis of this division the logic structure of all modules can be obtained. Then based on top-down design method, the fuzzy control module is designed with Verilog HDL, and the whole design is optimized and simulated successfully. Finally, the implementation of the fuzzy control system on a specific FPGA is given.
