  • Abstract
    As safe and reliable storage environments, as well as high performance data access technology are both essential to the development of digital library. Data storage technology plays an important role in the construction of digital library. With the emergence of grid storage technology, the flexible resource sharing in heterogeneous systems has been realized, which fully reflects the high efficiency of resource storage and management. This paper presents the key technologies for realizing efficient data storage in digital library system, and then a framework of grid storage system is described in detail, which as the basis to design a digital library application model based on grid storage technology. It supports unified management of multiple and heterogeneous digital library resources, and provides a new solution for modern digital library construction.
