Abstract
The experience of the 2013-2014 winter exposed some potentially serious challenges related to gas-electric integration. Significant questions concerning adequacy of gas transportation infrastructure, intersector coordination, and regulatory reform remain. ISO-NE´s experience also illustrates that critical operational and contractual improvements, along with resource adequacy assessments, are key to addressing gas-electric integration questions.
