Abstract
In order to realize SAR 3D imaging when the synthetic aperture in the height direction is unevenly sampled, missing-data amplitude and phase estimation (MAPES) algorithm is introduced in this paper. We deduce the signal model for SAR 3D imaging according the geometry model, and give the principle of MAPES algorithm for focusing in the height direction with the non-uniform samples. The MAPES algorithm is analyzed, and the steps are given. Finally, we get the simulation results of SAR 3D imaging with non-uniform samples in the height direction.
