Cluster Supply Chain Network Structure and Knowledge Transfer

Cluster supply chain has the characters both of cluster and supply chain. Enterprises in cluster supply chain are located in the same industrial district, with close-knit and high degree of confidence features. This paper applies the concept of ¿ social network analysis¿ to network structure of cluster supply chain. The combination of both supply chain and social network analysis can generate an enhanced general framework to assess exchange relations and social relations in cluster supply chain. After comparing the cluster supply chain and the general cluster, we believe that these features of cluster supply chain are helpful to knowledge transfer in cluster supply chain. This paper concludes with the knowledge transfer mechanism and a model of knowledge transfer in cluster supply chain is proposed.
