  • Abstract
    With high efficiency, simple structure and low cost, automatic mechanical transmission (AMT) was suitable for the development and application of trucks and cars. In this paper, a new type of electric-hydraulic control AMT was proposed, and the AMT electronic control system was designed, the electronic control system of AMT consisted of sensors, electronic control unit (ECU) and actuators. The sensors were equipped to detect the operational status of vehicles. The ECU collected signals of sensors and controlled actuators operating. The actuators consisted of shift solenoids that realized gear shift, hydraulic regulating solenoid that realized main hydraulic circuit pressure regulating, clutch control solenoid that realized hydraulic clutch control, engine speed motor that realized gasoline engine load regulation. Through collecting the detection signals of sensors, ECU recognized the operation patterns of vehicles and controlled actions of the actuators to achieve the control of the various operation models. The operation patterns were divided and the recognition methods were proposed. Experimental test results showed that the electronic control system designed was able to meet the requirement of intelligent control in the operation process of AMT.
