Abstract
The Dutch grid operator Alliander has the goal to perform continuous PQ measurements on the MV bus bars of all HV/MV substations and on a large number of strategic points in the MV network. From this data the quality on LV and MV level will be estimated. It is a major challenge to perform and analyze these measurements in a non expensive, effective and simple way. Cost efficient measurements have become possible, thanks to a new substation automation system, called SASensor. In order to deal with large amounts of data, a classification has been defined for every PQ aspect, in a range from A (very good) to F (very poor). In this way, different PQ measurements (different locations as well as different measuring times) can easily be compared. A powerful analysis tool has been developed to automatically perform this classification and to visualize the results. In this paper an overview of the total system is described. Several results of measurements are given.
