Abstract
Preamble is very important for synchronization in OFDM systems. The continuous phase reversal (CPR) signal is very unique and appropriate to be used as preamble. In this paper, a novel algorithm is proposed for CPR signal detection when interferences are existed. The algorithm consists of two subsequent steps: the baseband symbol elimination (BBSE) and the subtraction spectrum detection. The first step making a symbol match checking on the mixed signals, and the second step comparing the results before and after the check, then unique features are used to make the decision. This algorithm is very effective according to the simulation results. The probability of detection can be 0.99 when the signal-to-interference ratio (SIR) is above 0dB under the condition that two sinusoid interferences are existed. The results also show that the performance of the detection is influenced obviously by the carrier frequency offsets between the CPR signal and the sinusoid interferences.
