Abstract
At present the body characteristic parameters obtained from the body image are limited and can not be guaranteed for their accuracy. Thus the three-dimensional reconstruction of the human body with these information can not be trusted completely. In response to this problem, this paper presents a method of extracting human body contour from the orthogonal body image and modifying the body model with the outline information directly. This method avoids the transition from image information to the parameters and eliminates the errors. The generated three-dimensional human body model can reproduce the true face of human body more faithfully, and amend the problem of model that can not truly represents the human users in the current fitting system effectively.
