  • Abstract
The damage of jump at abutment joint has influenced expressway´s quality, so four different measurements whether the wedge-shaped approach slab or filling material selected are applied to analyze their effects to the embankment incoordinate sedimentation in Ji-jiao-xin expressway in Henan province. FLAC (Fast Lagrange Analysis of Continua) software has simulated the embankment deformation and mechanical properties back of bridge abutment. Results show that: 1) Different ways of the wedge-shaped approach slab or filling material can influenced the incoordinate sedimentation; 2) In the four ways, the way with two wedge-shaped approach slabs and gravel can reduce the incoordinate sedimentation is best.
