Abstract
After analyzing GPSR under traffic scenarios, we find its poor performance dues to extremely uneven distribution of vehicles. Considering the characteristics of the traffic scenario, we propose Improved GPSR using an electronic map. The simulation results show that Improved GPSR performs better than GPSR on Packet Delivery Ratio. Furthermore, we study the effect of stations switching on Packet Delivery Ratio.
