After careful and considered review of the content of this paper by a duly constituted expert committee, this paper has been found to be in violation of IEEE´s Publication Principles.
We hereby retract the content of this paper. Reasonable effort should be made to remove all past references to this paper.

In this paper, we study the following forced second-order nonlinear differential equation with damping (r(t)k1(x(t), x´(t)))´ + p(t)k2(x(t), x´(t))k1(x(t), x´(t)) + q(t)f(x(t))=e(t) and establish several sufficient conditions for this equation to be oscillatory. In the meanwhile, we point out the mistake in the related articles.
