Abstract
The forming process and forming principle of the pelleting process are analyzed first, and then the model of the energy consumption on pelleting is presented. Based on the model, the relationship between the die speed and the energy consumption of pelleting is calculated and analyzed. At last the experiments were carried out. It is shown that with the increase of die speed, the extrusion force and the torque are decreased, but the energy consumption is increased.
