  • Abstract
    We report a TM-guided to TE-radiation mode converter in electro-optic (EO) annealed proton-exchanged, 23.6-µm-period PPLN waveguides at 1550-nm band. Over 80%/cm mode-conversion efficiency was obtained with this device at 28°C with ∼8 V/µm EO field.
