Abstract
Non-effective pixel debase the quality of the infrared image and restrain the application of the infrared focal plane arrays. It is necessary to research the method of performance evaluation on non-effective pixel identify and compensation. After analyzing the characteristic of non-effective pixel, the real-time evaluation method was proposed. It adopt the two dimensional extrapolation method based on the scene, and could display the performance evaluation at the real time by using the real-time testing system. The experimental results show that the method is effective and practical .
