  • Abstract
    Smart Grid is the latest direction for the future power system development. The expansion of wireless broadband access and wireless broadband trunk in Smart Grid will improve not only the working efficiency within the enterprise network but also the economic efficiency of enterprises. In this paper, firstly the major problems of the power communication in Smart Grid were presented. Then, the network architecture, key technologies as well as technical advantages of McWiLL broadband multimedia trunk communication system were proposed. Finally, combined with the power communication business requirements in Smart Grid, the application prospects of McWiLL broadband multimedia trunk technology was presented.
