  • Abstract
    In order to investigate in-depth the law of flow inside the cyclone flotation and working principle, simulated the flow field of flotation machine by computational fluid dynamics (CFD) technology, obtained the path-lines of gas movement in water and velocity distribution as well as trend of change of foam layer, and analyzed the results of simulation. The results shows that: Relying on centrifugal force and gravity, cyclone floatation cell can form a certain extent thickness foam layer at the top of inner cylinder subsidence areas, and gas overflowing non-scraper, its inlet velocity and the thickness of foam layer have a certain association.
