  • Abstract
It is generally considered that the test activities affect on software reliability, especially in complex software like ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems. Test cases and selected test runs must be identical, or as close as possible, to the actual use of tested software for the good reliability estimation. Operational profile is describing how system will be used in a real conditions and helps in selection of test cases and test runs. In this paper operational profile is processed as an approach for more efficient testing and software reliability growth for the ERP software. Theoretical concepts are systematically analyzed and presented in the specific example of ERP module.
