After careful and considered review of the content of this paper by a duly constituted expert committee, this paper has been found to be in violation of IEEE´s Publication Principles.
We hereby retract the content of this paper. Reasonable effort should be made to remove all past references to this paper.

With the growing aviation demand, the airport capacity is closing to the limits. This paper takes Xiamen airport as a sample to find the potential airport capacity. The model is built up using SIMMOD_PLUS by contributing the actual airport air and ground structures and inputting the collection of the real flight schedule data. Through the computer simulations, the added parallel taxiway could increase the airport capacity, while additional sea routes could enhance it as well. Then it researches the external factors impacting on the capacity, and finally proposes the improved strategy to airport capacity augment.
