After careful and considered review of the content of this paper by a duly constituted expert committee, this paper has been found to be in violation of IEEE´s Publication Principles.
We hereby retract the content of this paper. Reasonable effort should be made to remove all past references to this paper.

Adopting the experimental method, this study assesses the impacts of the intervention of outward bound on three psychological indicators: self-concept, social support and coping styles. The battery of tests being used in a pre-test/post-test approach were the Tennessee Self-Concept Scale (TSCS), Social Support Rating Scale (SSRS)and Coping Styles Questionnaire (CSQ).
