  • Abstract
This paper defines the sensitivity of runoff process( dependent variable) upon atmospheric circulation factors ( independent variables) on the basis of sensibility analysis. Besides, it adopts BP arithmetic to identify the coupling of atmospheric circulation factors on runoff process so as to accomplish the task of identifying the mapping between the dependent variable and independent variables. Moreover, it has computed the sensibility of runoff upon atmospheric circulation factors by combining with the historical data of the source region of the Yellow River Basin. Finally, it evaluates the key atmospheric circulation factors that affect the runoff of this region.
