Abstract
The paper deals with an experimental workplace for a measurement selected parameters of the communication buses. It puts emphasis on use the CAN bus which is frequently uses in the automotive electronic systems at present. There were created the requirements for research of communication parameters, a comparing for example the CAN bus with serial interface etc. In the paper is introduced the workplace structure, applied hardware equipment, the software control solution and also some information about next possibilities of the working place and its use for an experimental measurement. In the conclusion of the paper there is described how the workplace will be improved by new equipment like WiFi or Bluetooth technology in future.
