  • Abstract
    Flexible sensor tube (FST) is the sensor which has series link structure(one potentiometer is built-in each joint). When we assume the length direction of the link x-axis, it can turn yaw and pitch direction ±45° and in roll direction ±60°. In this paper accuracy of FST for looking at the application of FST in many fields is investigated. Result of this paper can apply to not only one-unit FST but also variety of circumstances, so it is of advantage to technique development of FST.
