  • Abstract
De-Noising of the vibration signal is the key to improve the accuracy of fault diagnosis. A new method of De-Noising based on Empirical Mode Decomposition (EMD) has been proposed. This method overcome the defect that traditional time domain or frequency domain filters need to determine the window function of shape and position by using the filter generated from its own signal. De-Noising processes of numerical simulation signal is tested. Experiments result shows that this method has better performance on noise to signal ratio and fault features extracting compared to traditional wavelet de-noising.
