Abstract
In order to improve laser atmospheric propagation efficiency on the sea, 1.06μm laser and 10.6μm laser atmospheric propagation were researched. First, laser atmospheric propagation effect was analyzed. Then 1.06μm laser atmospheric transmittance formula was approximately concluded. 1.06μm laser atmospheric transmittance on the sea was calculated. And then 10.6μm laser atmospheric transmittance was also calculated. 10.6μm laser atmospheric transmittance curve was described. Finally, some data and conclusions about laser atmospheric propagation on the sea were obtained. Two methods can be adopted to improve laser propagation energy. One is that propagation distance is shortened. The other is that laser energy is enhanced.
