  • Abstract
Traditional agricultural knowledge service is based on keyword rather than content, the recall rate and precision rate cannot to be improved. The knowledge representation based on semantic web can truly achieve the semantic-level knowledge service. This paper analyzes the status of agricultural knowledge service system and points out its shortcomings, elaborates semantic web technologies, studies how to build and manage the agriculture ontology; A model of agricultural knowledge service system based on semantic web is proposed, and a framework and function design are given. In this model, user´s individual requirements are taken into account, semantic annotation is achieved by ontology database, knowledge reasoning and retrieval are completed through the agent process, and knowledge representation and evaluation are given. Analysis that the model is adapted to existing agricultural knowledge service.
