Abstract
The cardiovascular diseases are threatening the safety of human life, and have become the NO.1 killer among all diseases. 70% of the lethal cardiovascular diseases are caused by vulnerable atherosclerosis plaque rupturing. It has great clinical significance to detect and diagnose cardiovascular plaques, access their risk at an early stage. Based on the EN-MSCT images, we have designed and extracted 10 kinds of image features. Then we invited two seasoned radiologists to identify the CT images and divided them into groups (three degrees of risk). The correlation analysis was made between image features and degrees of risk. The result has shown that there were 6 features have high correlation with degrees of risk, and implied they could help the clinical doctors to evaluate risk of the cardiovascular plaques.
