Abstract
To study the relationship between the color difference of digital images and visual perception, two psychophysical experiments were designed. Five different types of digital images with different color distribution characteristics were used to make test image pairs with different color difference levels. Visual evaluation experiments were performed to get a great number of experimental data. Experimental conditions and experimental data were analyzed. The results of two different experiments were compared, and then the basic experimental data set for image color-difference evaluation were established.
