Research on Diffusion Theory Paradigm Applied in Network News Communication of Crisis Event: A Case for NetEase Online News Comments on the "Open Chest to Check Lung" Incident

This paper studies the history of Diffusion Theory, put forward two new concepts of Tarde - Rogers Hypothesis and "Ryan - Gross" Paradigm. It\´s other theoretical significance is that introducing the classic hypothesis and paradigm of Diffusion Theory into Network News Communication and obtaining an empirical support. As for it\´s methodology, this paper puts forward some theoretical hypotheses and application misunderstandings of Diffusion Theory, and based on this, improves the accuracy of data. In addition, this paper holds the idea that Behavioral Data from the internet are more objective and realistic than Interview Data. Through comparative analysis, the Innovation Hypothesis from "Ryan - Gross" paradigm obtains empirical support in the Application Analysis.
