A Study on the Distribution Center Location of Chains Retail

Distribution center location is reasonable or not has a direct impact on a corporation´s logistics costs, which will further affect the development of the corporation. To supermarket chains, reasonable distribution centers addresses can reduce costs and enhance the competitiveness; what´s more, it has a great influence on the development of the corporation. On the basis of fully awareness of the significance of distribution center location, this paper analyzes distribution center location problems of supermarket chains. And different types of supermarket chains can choose different methods to decide the location of distribution center according to the corporations´ situations to achieve business goals.
