  • Abstract
    The paper evaluates the shielding effectiveness of a flexible metallic screen perforated with multiple square apertures. The screen shield is designed and fabricated using screen printing technique. The electromagnetic shielding performance of the screen is analyzed using empirical formulae as well as full-wave modeling. By considering the effects of measurement setup and substrate, an accurate representation of the shield´s performance is obtained. The designed screen is then implemented to suppress the emissions from a noisy high speed digital circuit. The far field emissions plot shows promising application of for this design as an EMI solution.
