Abstract
The Mobile Agent technology is emerging as an alternative to build a smart generation of highly distributed systems. This work implements the agent -based technologies for Centralized Exam Assessment Apportion, to investigate the performance and security issues. This paper presents a comparative performance evaluation model of Mobile Agents versus traditional computing paradigms. The model proposed considers the entire examination process like Registration of the candidates, paper setting, Examination conduction, answer-paper evaluation and result compilation and publishing. This agent-based technology significantly enhances the performance of distributed systems in area of information retrieval. Security can be provided by using a tampering detection algorithm.
