Error Processing on the Real-Time Traffic Data

Real-time traffic data is the main information source of Traffic Management Center (TMC) and Intelligent Traffic System (ITS), the qualities of collected data will affect the accuracy of the entire traffic control system directly. To improve the qualities of data, error processing must be used. In the paper, based of the large number of studies in related fields at home and abroad, the error processing was studied and discussed. At last, combined with the traffic flow theories and statistics, the article raised a viable solution idea about removing the error from the real-time traffic data.
