  • Abstract
    An integrated system for the assessment of pull-to-stand joint reactions at the ankle, hip, knee, and shoulder was designed and constructed. The system was evaluated using multiple tests of three healthy adult male subjects during both sit-to-stand and pull-to-stand maneuvers. In the preliminary tests, generalized ground reaction forces in the A-P and vertical directions were found to decrease in the pull-to- stand trials.
