Abstract
One of the most accurate and efficient technique to analyze scattering by perfectly conducting rectangular plate is Galerkin´s method in the spectral domain with analytical Fourier transformable basis functions factorizing the correct edge behaviour of the surface current density. However, the coefficients of the scattering matrix are slowly convergent double integrals of oscillating functions. To overcome this problem, in this paper a new analytical technique to obtain alternative fast convergent integral expressions for such coefficients is presented.
