Abstract
Bojana Lecic grew up in a town in Serbia with her three sisters. She discovered her interest in the technical sciences during high school and decided to major in information technology (IT) at the University of Belgrade, where she is now in her senior year. Not many girls in Serbia decide to study IT, she says, because of the "predominant attitude that programmers are almost exclusively men. In the last couple of years, circumstances changed a little bit; however, [the] IT sector still remains mostly reserved for men."
