  • Abstract
    The slag grinding process is introduced. The basic control forms of vertical mill are presented by analyzing the dynamic characteristics of material layer in slag vertical mill. Simulation results show that, in steady conditions, self-tuned scaling factors fuzzy controller performs better than basic fuzzy controller in material layer control. Self-tuned scaling factors fuzzy controller was applied in one slag vertical mill for a month period. The effect of practical control proves that, compared with manual control, Self-tuned scaling factors fuzzy controller can reduce the fluctuation range of the material layer and the vibration of slag vertical mill, at the same time no unusual vibration shutdown occurs.
