Abstract
A low insertion loss and compact all-fiber short carbon nanotube based saturable absorber (SA) is presented. By connecting the SA in a linear cavity Erbium-doped Fiber Laser, passively Q-switched EDFL with high pulse-repetition-rate is achieved.
