Abstract
Recently, as expansion of private sector R&D scale and growth of the research capabilities of universities, the publicly-funded research institute in Korea is faced in terms of competitiveness like changing research conditions, research specialization and improvement of quality of research performance. In addition to, performance evaluation system has been changed as qualitative performance evaluation. Under these circumstances, we suggested and applied the proper qualitative performance indicators for research quality improvement of the publicly-funded research institute.
