Abstract
Semiconductor manufacturing is knowledge intensive. Semiconductor manufacturers need to engage in a variety of organizational learning efforts. Resources need to be allocated according to the value of each learning effort. Unfortunately, no adequate theoretical framework for value-driven learning has been developed. This paper presents an empirically study from which a useful, value-driven model of organizational learning can be developed.
