Abstract
H.264 is a new international video coding standard based on motion estimation, transform, quantization and entropy coding framework. H.264 adopts plentiful new technologies, which greatly improve coding efficiency but hugely adding complexity. This paper studies the H.264 which is the most popularly coding technology current in-depth, and analyzes the key technology of H.264. And then select the motion estimation and integer transform and quantization as the breakthrough point to improve and optimized the speed of encoding. Finally, through the data of experiment, under the premise of a satisfactory video quality, algorithm achieves the purpose of speed up the video encoding.
