  • Abstract
In this paper, a numerical approach to calculate the droplet collection efficiency on airfoil was presented. Two-dimensional wind field simulations have been performed based on the Reynolds Averaged Navier-Stocks (RANS) equations. The droplet trajectories are calculated by Lagrangian method. Particular attention is paid to the study of collection efficiency of droplets with different diameters and velocities for a NACA0012 airfoil.
