  • Abstract
    An improved subcarrier allocation algorithm for multiuser OFDM system was performed, In order to improve the proportional fairness of channel resource allocation. A parameter a was introduced into the new algorithm. The subcarrier allocation algorithm was divided into two steps: aN subcarrier allocation algorithm and residual subcarrier allocation. By simulation experiment with the proposed algorithm, Dn algorithm and Shen algorithm, the proposed algorithm has a good performance in the spectral efficiency, normalized capacity, sum capacity and fairness.
