Abstract
The most common ways to evaluate device status include the analytic hierarchy, fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method and fuzzy analytic hierarchy. However, it would not be able to determine which category the object should belong to when the computed membership has no significant difference. In view of the limitations of theses method, this paper presents an evaluation based on grey clustering evaluation. Our way is to build whitening weight functions and their inflexions from the past maintenance data first, And then application of entropy-right method to determine each index weight of the evaluation. Finally, determines whether the device need for maintenance according to the result based on the operation of whitening weight functions and entropy-right method using real - time data of a specific device.
