Abstract
This paper deals with the modelling of the pyramid absorber wall commonly used in EMC experiments. The absorber material is characterized by coaxial line measurements in the frequency range from 20 MHz to 1.7 GHz. The electric permittivity of the material under test is extracted by Nicolson - Weir approach. The dielectric properties of the absorber are modelled by Debye formula and a multilayer representation.
