Research on formation mechanism of the modern regional logistics hub based on system dynamics

During regional economy developing, many regions government take building logistics hubs as one of the important method for improving economy development. In fact, the procedure of logistics hub forming is a complex evolutionary process, it is related many factors. This paper considers some main influence factors to formation of regional logistics hub, uses the inter-relationship diagraph to analyses relationship between the influencing factors, composes a system dynamics model, and then exposes the mechanism of forming a logistics hub. Meanwhile this paper studies the affection of different factors, especially floating population in the region, the logistics cost, logistics business investments, and so on, to the formation of regional logistics hub, and analyses the relationship and reactions each other between logistics demand and supply.
