Abstract
In the paper a problem of extending integration time in DVB-T-based passive radar is addressed. In passive radar, target detection is based on calculating the crossambiguity function between the reference and echo signals. To obtain higher signal-to-noise ratio after the processing, longer integration time can be used. However, extending the integration time using classical formula for crossambiguity function leads to signal-to- noise ratio losses. We analyse the simplifying assumptions used in classical crossambiguity and present more general form of the crossambiguity function, which allows us to use longer integration times with reduced losses in signal-to-noise ratio.
