Abstract
The 2D plasma simulation results within the frame of EMHD theory are presented. The numerical system includes electron hydrodynamics, Maxwell equations, and a set of equations for electron temperature evolution. The code is planned to be used for simulations of EMHD effects in Plasma Opening Switch (POS) and Z-pinch plasmas, as well as for modeling of the magnetic field generation in laser-produced plasmas.
