Abstract
In the era of quantitative easing monetary policy and inflation, how to prevent monetary depreciation? It is necessary to know how to manage wealth to increase wealth. Wealth management as money saver as well as investing tool is a means to increase wealth by increasing sources and reducing consumption. It may be defined as the optimal efficacy and effectiveness of money via adequate and wise investment, but it is a big issue to find a simple handy way with effectiveness to gain profit among various investing manners. Thus, the scores of monitoring indicators (MIs) as the basis of investment in exchange traded funds (ETFs) via market trade were employed to verify the effectiveness of MIs to gain excess returns of ETFs. The subject was 312 times of MIs announced during 26 years from Jan 1984 to Dec 2009. In terms of findings, the scores of MIs rendered the profitable effectiveness by regular or single investment where total returns of the latter exceeded those of the former.
